This is ARCC member Aisha, we interviewed her about her first time donating blood! Here's what she had to say:

Was this your first time donating blood?  Yes.
Why haven't you donated before?  I was nervous and thought I would faint.
Why did you decide to donate blood?  I wanted to get over my fear and do something good.
Did it hurt? Nope.
Would you donate again? I will donate again
How would you convince others that are too afraid to donate to give blood? I would say that it didn't hurt, the staff is very friendly, the actual donating goes by very quick, and at the end of the day you are doing something to help others.

A special thanks to Aisha for letting us spotlight her blood donation process! Hopefully this helps others gain the courage to donate for the first time. Remember, one donation can save up to 3 lives!

Serving the people without any intension of any profit is a big thing. That is what the American Red Cross is doing. Donating our blood to save a life is a charitable job. I appreciate for promoting these types of camps and other programs.
